Let's Robot

Welcome to the Let's Robot network. You'll find comprehensive guides and documentation to help you start working with Let's Robot as quickly as possible, as well as support if you get stuck. Let's jump right in!

Getting Started

Interested in a robot? Great! Let's look at the ways to get started.

  • Buy a robot from Let's Robot in a kit form!
  • Buy a robot from Let's Robot pre-assembled!
  • Build my own! Join our Discord! and get help from the community.
  • You can also view our open source code on github.
  • We are in the process of making an updated and more sensible guide, WIP here!

I Would Like to Assemble the Kit Version

Great choice! If you have already ordered and received your kit version then you are ready to head over to the Building Your Robot page below. If you ordered it and haven't received it yet, that's okay too. Reading through the Building Your Robot page before assembling the robot will help things go faster and smoother once you are ready.

If you haven't ordered your kit version yet, you can do so here.

I Would Like to Skip the Assembly Process

We understand that assembling a robot isn't for everyone. If you have bought a preassembled robot then you are ready to head straight to the Connecting Your Robot page shown below.

If you haven't bought a robot yet then you can head over to our store shown below to find a robot that works for you. In the mean-time, feel free to head over to the Connecting Your Robot page listed at the bottom of this page to get a better idea of what is to come.

I Would Like to Make My Own Robot

Awesome! We encourage do-it-yourself robots! If get stuck at any point along the instructions, remember to reach out for help in our discord channel. If you need help figuring out what kind of parts you will need, take a look at the list below. Also, refer to the wiki to see other users' parts lists. If you already have an idea of what you will need then that works too!

4 Gear Boxs

Power Bank

Raspberry Pi 3

Motor Controller HAT

Fisheye Camera

2 USB Cables

Motor Wires

(List does not contain wheels, wheels hubs, or external body)

If you have selected parts from this list and want some guidance, head over to the Build Your Robot section posted below. If you've selected your own parts, once you have assembled them then you will be ready to connect to Let's Robot. To learn how to do that, head over to the Connecting Your Robot tab below.
